Silhouette cutout and Storyboard

Hello there,
the next group challenge is our first professional stop frame animation, to be made with cutouts of our characters on black cardboards. I have been resizing my silhouette many times to make sure it would fit the filming space and would be proportionate to the other characters.

I am really happy with the result as I find it very detailed and it has a lot of potential in terms of movement.
Here is the first trial:

Storyboard: 

For the story we all wanted something different. So we tried to put our ideas together to make something funny, that make sense and moreover, that was interesting. 

The idea is to make something which involves the Earth, but also the space, as 2 characters come from other planets. 

We are going to start with Edd, Liam’s character, collecting rocks on Earth, which is his favourite hobby; he is going then to meet Kurai, James’s character, and Geronimo, that are gonna make their best to show him that their way to have fun is much better than him. 

Geronimo is going to make him drunk, and Kurai is going to bring them two to his own planet and smoke some of his drugs. 

Edd will then decide to go back to Earth to keep collecting rocks. As he has much more fun that way.
