Dragon - Animating, lights, camera and rendering

these are the final stages of my project.


My notes and ideas took at 3 in the night ha ha.

I could have made a simple low poly scenery, but I really liked the idea of my dragon flying in the night sky. So my background is made by a map with cells, playing with the values to make it seem a sky full of stars.

I added a simple light with target on the dragon, to make the shades and highlights pop up.

The camera moves in a simple way from top to bottom, with target on the dragon, to emphasise the staging effect and to focus on the head movement.


You can see from this image how many keys I set just for the selected part of the model. It took me quite a while, especially trying to replicate how a dragon moves realistically. 
I had to look as some references.
